Air Force NEPA Manager This position is a leadership role that requires managing Air Force NEPA tasks, managing existing clients, and fully developing new business. Our client is an industry leader providing environmental and engineering consulting services. Successful candidates must have: At minimum a Bachelor degree in Environmental Science, Planning, or a related field Expert knowledge of the Air Force NEPA process including related laws and authorities 10+ years of experience managing EAs and preparing EISs for the Air Force Proven client, staff, program, and project management skills Responsibilities will include: Overall and day-to-day NEPA program and project management Oversee the entire USAF-NEPA process from data collection to final findings and recommendations Supervise the preparation and review of environmental documents from Categorical Exclusions up through EISs Review, provide technical analysis, and recommend corrections/improvements on environmental reports prepared by junior staff and contractors Proposal preparation and presentation Business development of USAF clients, securing contracts for NEPA and other environmental services Develop and monitor project budgets and schedules, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction Staff development, supervision, and mentoring Client management to include providing technical advice/expertise and project updates and obtaining new business/ contracts from existing customers Establish and manage multidisciplinary teams Applicants must be: Detail-oriented Organized A team player Strongly focused on quality and client service All candidates must have: Proven Air Force NEPA experience The ability to write concise technical documents The ability to work on simultaneous, diverse projects The ability to innovate and follow through to completion all assigned and delegated tasks The ability to obtain a DoD and/or DHS security clearance The ability to manage different interdisciplinary project teams (staff and contractors located in various offices and cities) for individual contract execution This position requires some travel. This is a full-time, permanent employment opportunity. Compensation is competitive and will be commensurate with experience, approximately $80K-100K/year.
